Set in the fictional town of Pogoo, the story follows Rohan, his older brother Kyohan, and Jane, a newcomer who moves into a Texas-style hot springs run by the local hatmaker. Solo artist JINI, taking on her first acting role in Boy, shared her heartfelt excitement: “I was thrilled playing the role of Jane. Director Lee Sang Deok, who made his directorial debut with the 2017 film Write or Dance, gained critical acclaim for his sophomore feature, Film Adventure, which won the Best Film Award at the Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival. With Boy, Lee is raising expectations for his next project. He shared his commitment to the film: “I’m focused on the post-production process to ensure this becomes a truly unique film, blending the passion of youth with its darker elements.”

After completing its post-production process, the unpredictable youth crime romance Boy will be released in theaters in the first half of 2025.
