TWICE’s Jihyo recently expressed her honest opinions on relationships and life while on a camping excursion with comedian Park Na Rae. The episode titled “Jihyo | TWICE’s Contract Renewal, New Song Tarot Card Readings, Jihyo’s Campsite” was published on Wednesday on Park Na Rae’s YouTube channel, Naraesik.
During their trip, Park Na Rae complimented Jihyo’s entrepreneurial spirit. The K-pop idol disclosed her excitement about engaging in variety shows that feature part-time jobs, even discussing the prospect of starting a restaurant abroad.
Park Na Rae wholeheartedly endorsed Jihyo’s aspirations, particularly highlighting her present involvement in the show Tenant, where she explores various guesthouses. When Park inquired about the competitive aspects of the guesthouse industry, Jihyo shared a fascinating detail: “I’ve heard that a number of couples who met at these guesthouses have actually tied the knot.”
The dialogue soon shifted to relationships when Park Na Rae playfully questioned Jihyo on her feelings if her partner chose to stay at a guesthouse. Jihyo’s reply was refreshingly straightforward: “If someone is going to cheat, they’ll find a way to do it. You might as well free them.”
Taken aback by Jihyo’s forthright perspective, Park Na Rae probed, “So, if a guy makes a mistake, you wouldn’t consider giving him another chance?” Jihyo clarified, “Wouldn’t my interest fade? If someone has a propensity to cheat, they’ll do it regardless. I’d prefer to cut things off quickly rather than become too attached.”
Jihyo went on to share her thoughts, stating, “Of course, I’d feel hurt, but what can you do? Life is essentially a personal journey anyway.”
In March, Jihyo attracted attention when rumors emerged about her romance with former South Korean skeleton racer Yun Sung Bin. Her agency provided a typical response: “We cannot disclose specifics regarding her private life.”
