Ji Seung Hyun will make a special appearance in “The Fiery Priest 2”!
A sequel to the hit 2019 drama about priest Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil) with anger management issues, “The Fiery Priest 2” follows his story as he takes on the boss role of an organization by night and heads to Busan to fight the top drug cartel in the country.

Previously, Kim Hae Il traveled to Busan with his ardent ally Goo Dae Young (Kim Sung Kyun) to track down the mastermind behind a drug case in Gudam District. The duo worked together to capture “Busan Fire Eel” (Jang Ji Geon), a figure tied to the case. However, just as they apprehended him, they found themselves at risk of being arrested by Detective Goo Ja Young (BIBI) from the Busan Police Narcotics Unit.
Ji Seung Hyun will take on the role of Team Leader Lee, the steadfast and principled senior detective of Goo Ja Young. Known for his unwavering integrity, Team Leader Lee will exude the charm of a principled law enforcer.
Reflecting on his experience, Ji Seung Hyun shared, “I heard so many rave reviews about ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ that I gladly accepted the opportunity for a special appearance.”
On reuniting with BIBI, his co-star from “The Worst of Evil,” he remarked, “It was wonderful to reunite with BIBI. Filming was such a joy.” He also encouraged viewers, saying, “The series is only going to get more exciting, so please look forward to it!”
