tvN’s “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” and JTBC’s “A Virtuous Business” are on the rise!
On October 19, both new dramas soared to their highest viewership ratings yet for their respective third episodes.
According to Nielsen Korea, “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” took first place in its time slot across all channels—including public broadcast networks—with an average nationwide rating of 9.2 percent, marking a new personal record for the show.
“A Virtuous Business” also reached a new all-time high last night, when it scored an average nationwide rating of 4.6 percent.
MBC’s new drama “Doubt” earned its highest viewership ratings to date for a Saturday, when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Fridays. The fourth episode of the mystery thriller scored a nationwide average of 5.5 percent.
KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family” also achieved its highest ratings yet for a Saturday, when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Sundays. The drama was the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday, scoring a nationwide average of 15.3 percent for the night.
Finally SBS’s “The Judge from Hell” was the most-watched miniseries of the entire week with an average nationwide rating of 11.4 percent.
