The two have maintained a close friendship since their trainee days. During their chat, Jeongyeon humorously noted the production team’s request to highlight Somi’s strengths, quipping, “It’s both a strength and a weakness that she talks so much. It really drains my energy.” This playful banter showcased their genuine camaraderie, with Jeongyeon expressing excitement over Somi’s treasures by saying, “This friend is young and rich.”
They reminisced while revealing some of Jeon Somi’s cherished items before exploring a local market. At a street food stall, Jeongyeon asked, “How long do you spend on your makeup?” Somi surprised her with the answer, “About an hour and a half.” She explained, “That includes both makeup and hair. I always carry my makeup pouch around and do my own makeup,” highlighting her commitment to beauty. Jeongyeon praised her skills, saying, “You do your makeup really well,” to which Somi replied, “I even put on false eyelashes!”
When Jeongyeon mentioned her disinterest in makeup, Somi sweetly complimented her, saying, “But you’re beautiful.” Then, in a touching moment, Somi disclosed to Jeongyeon that she had chosen her as her ideal type among female celebrities, sharing that fans often ask her about it.
