BLACKPINK’s Jennie is reportedly lending her star power to Zico‘s celebration of a decade in the solo spotlight.
According to Ten Asia, Jennie will not only feature on Zico’s anniversary single due later this month but also grace the accompanying music video, marking a high-profile collaboration between the two well-known artists. Responding to a friendly request from Zico, Jennie enthusiastically agreed to participate, raising expectations for the musical synergy that their union would unleash.
Zico is gearing up for a grand return to the music scene with a new single, his first release in about 21 months since the July 2022 EP, “Grown Ass Kid.” The rapper’s agency KOZ Entertainment confirmed that “Zico is in the midst of preparations with an April comeback in sight,” though remained tight-lipped about Jennie’s involvement, stating, “It’s difficult to confirm matters related to other aspects.”
This comeback is a milestone for Zico, marking ten years since his solo debut. With his upcoming single, Zico is ready to showcase the depth of his musical expertise. Adding to the excitement, Zico will step into a new role as the solo host of a music show, taking over from Lee Hyori. He has been chosen as the next MC for KBS’s The Seasons, with the first recording scheduled for the 23rd and the premiere set for the 26th.
