Jay Park recently expressed regret over his retirement announcement from four years ago and confirmed he plans to continue his career to the delight of his fans. He shared, “I felt like I was barely surviving while running my company, but I currently have no plans to retire.”

On the latest episode of MBC’s Radio Star, guests Chae Jung An, Jay Park, Kim Hae Jun, and Jang Dong Sun brought their charisma and humor to the show, engaging in a lively and entertaining discussion.

Four years ago, Jay Park announced his retirement plans on Radio Star. Reflecting on his previous statements, he said, “I mentioned I would retire in two years, but I think it’s best to retire eventually with applause.”

He also noted, “Starting a company and managing everything on my own made me feel like I was just getting by and not enjoying it,” but added, “For now, I’m playing a significant role in my new company, so I have no plans to retire.”

Regarding the recent controversy over using an OnlyFans account to promote his single McNasty, Park explained, “I’ve released over 400 tracks, including features. The longer you’re in the industry, the tougher it is to promote. It’s a fresh approach to attract attention in an industry where people are accustomed to the same old methods.”

He elaborated, “I decided to use the OnlyFans platform after considering different promotional strategies.”

He clarified, “There’s a misunderstanding; OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform, and I used its image purely for promotion. It worked as planned.”

Discussing the striking kiss marks featured in the McNasty music video, he admitted, “I approached it like fashion. Since doing it by hand looked fake, a friend of my manager helped with the photos.” His comment elicited some laughter.
