Jang Na Ra recently shared the romantic story of how she met and fell in love with her husband, who is six years younger than her.
On the episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy aired on the 30th, Jang Na Ra appeared as a special MC and gave a glimpse into her personal life. The actress revealed, “I met my husband while working on the drama ‘VIP’ in 2019.” MC Shin Dong Yeop added, “Jang Na Ra’s husband was the cinematographer for that drama.” Jang Na Ra continued, “The drama was successful, and I ended up dating and marrying him.”
When MC Seo Jang Hoon asked who made the first move, Jang Na Ra confessed, “I did,” admitting that she was the one to approach her husband first.
Asked about her husband’s charm, Jang Na Ra said, “He’s incredibly good at his job. Even if it wasn’t his responsibility, he would always help out if there were any issues on set.”
Shin Dong Yeop inquired how she made her move first, and Jang Na Ra recounted, “After the shoot, I noticed that my husband appeared in the background of some photos I had taken. I sent him one of those photos and initiated contact.” She added, “He replied asking, ‘How have you been?’ From then on, I kept contacting him like nonstop.”
Jang Na Ra reminisced, “He once told me he enjoyed working with great colleagues on set and mentioned how nice they were. That’s when I just blurted out, ‘I like you,’ and confessed my feelings.”
Jang Na Ra married cinematographer Jung Ha Chul in June 2022. Announcing her marriage, she shared, “After dating a video director six years my junior for over two years, we decided to become life partners. I fell for his beautiful smile, sincere and kind heart, and most importantly, his genuine dedication to his work.”
