JTBC’s “The Atypical Family” has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming episode!
“The Atypical Family” is a fantasy romance drama about a family that once had supernatural powers, but lost them after suffering from realistic modern-day problems. Jang Ki Yong stars as Bok Gwi Joo, who once had the ability to time-travel but lost his power after becoming depressed due to a devastating accident.

On the previous episode of “The Atypical Family,” Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee)’s guilt led her to suddenly reveal her true identity at her wedding, breaking the smitten Bok Gwi Joo’s heart.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Bok Gwi Joo once again travels back in time to the past, where he comforts the young Do Da Hae at her father’s funeral.
The next set of photos captures the star-crossed lovers in the present, where Bok Gwi Joo has now become more determined than ever to pursue Do Da Hae and win her over after learning something unexpected about her past.
However, Do Da Hae has her guard up, pointing a finger at Bok Gwi Joo with a fierce expression as if warning him to stay away.
But the more Do Da Hae pushes Bok Gwi Joo away, the more he chases after her and stubbornly expresses his feelings. During another reunion, Bok Gwi Joo keeps his distance from Do Da Hae, but the emotion in his eyes is heartbreaking as he gazes at her in silence.
The drama’s production team teased, “Bok Gwi Joo will hover near Do Da Hae in order to change her mind. Please look forward to finding out what Bok Gwi Joo sees after time-traveling to the past, as well as the reason he decides to try to change her mind.”
They added, “Bok Gwi Joo and Do Da Hae’s hidden past connection will also be fun to watch.”
The next episode of “The Atypical Family” will air on May 25 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
