Reports have suggested Kim Sae Ron might be thinking about a possible return to acting with the rumors intensifying after her mysterious social media update.
The young star, once a rising name in the K-drama industry, recently shared a social media post featuring photos with former co-stars Lee Sang Yi, Woo Do Hwan and Lee Jae Wook from popular shows like Bloodhounds and Kiss Sixth Sense.
The post quickly went viral, with fans and the public alike wondering if it meant her possible comeback. However, the actress quickly deleted the post, leaving fans to speculate even more.
Kim Sae Ron’s career was derailed in May 2022 when she was caught driving under the influence and caused a car accident that damaged public property. The incident led her to pay a 20 million won fine last April, step down from several projects, and face significant backlash from the public. Consequently, she was dropped from SBS’s Taxi Driver was partially edited out of the Netflix series Bloodhounds.
Since then, she has kept a relatively low profile, working as a cafe manager while facing legal consequences for her actions.
