KBS2’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” has unveiled new stills for the upcoming episode!
“Beauty and Mr. Romantic” is a romance drama about an actress who hits rock bottom overnight and the producing director (PD) who gets her back on her feet out of love. Im Soo Hyang stars as A-list actress Park Do Ra, who has been worked to the bone for years by her ruthless stage mom—and whose life undergoes an unexpected change when she happens to run into assistant director Go Pil Seung (Ji Hyun Woo) on the set of a drama.

Previously, Park Do Ra survived a near-death experience after an extreme decision. Following a full-body reconstruction surgery, she started a new life as Kim Ji Young, the granddaughter of Lee Soon Jung (Lee Joo Shil). Two years later, Ji Young meets Pil Seung, who is filming a drama in the neighborhood, and begins working as the youngest staff member of his drama team. Ji Young and Pil Seung, now staff and director, are entangled once again, raising expectations for this week’s broadcast.
In newly released stills, Ji Young, now a junior staff member on Pil Seung’s drama team, instinctively starts reading the “Straightforward Romance” script and soon bursts into tears. Pil Seung sees her in this vulnerable moment, escalating the situation. He freezes as if struck by a sudden thought. Viewers are left wondering if Pil Seung has realized that Do Ra and Ji Young are the same person.
Additionally, as Do Ra reads the script of “Straightforward Romance,” which she starred in, there is speculation about whether she might regain some of her past memories. This unpredictable plot makes the upcoming episode even more anticipated.
