Im Se Mi and Kim Yo Han have been confirmed to star alongside Yoon Kye Sang in the upcoming SBS drama “TRY: We Become Miracles” (literal translation)!
Set in a high school rugby club, “TRY: We Become Miracles” tells the story of young people, who are all in for playing rugby, facing the world and becoming miracles themselves.
Yoon Kye Sang takes on the role of Joo Ga Ram, the contract coach of Hanyang Physical Education High School’s rugby team. Joo Ga Ram, who was called the hope of Korean rugby, hits rock bottom due to a drug scandal and retires under the stigma of a drug addict. Three years later, he returns to his alma mater’s rugby team as a contract coach and becomes the center of a storm.
Im Se Mi plays Bae Yi Ji, the shooting coach of Hanyang Physical Education High School. Bae Yi Ji, who possesses tenacity and a strong mentality, broke down only once in her life: the drug incident of her ex-boyfriend Joo Ga Ram, who ghosted her after causing a drug scandal on the 10th anniversary of their relationship. Amidst the upheaval of her life, Bae Yi Ji works as a player-coach at Hanyang Physical Education High School, and one day, she reunites with her ex-boyfriend Joo Ga Ram, who comes to her school as a rugby coach out of the blue.
Kim Yo Han portrays Yoon Sung Joon, a 19-year-old student at Hanyang Physical Education High School and the captain of the school rugby team. Yoon Sung Joon is a twin brother whose younger brother is a member of the junior national soccer team. He used to play soccer himself, but due to his lack of talent, he switched to being a rugby player. Yoon Sung Joon envies those with gifted talent but is actually a hard-working person who always trains harder than anyone else, wanting to be recognized for his performance.
