Hyun Bin’s eagerly awaited film Harbin has taken the lead in pre-sales just a week and a half prior to its official debut.

As per the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticketing system, the movie has already exceeded 83,383 pre-sale tickets by Sunday, clinching the top rank in overall advance booking figures. Such remarkable statistics highlight the enthusiasm surrounding Harbin.

Set in the year 1909, Harbin depicts an intense and dramatic chase involving a band of independence fighters heading towards Harbin and their pursuers. This chase is fueled by deep-seated suspicion and perilous stakes.

The film has stirred considerable interest, outperforming tough rivals such as Firefighters and Mufasa: The Lion King, reinforcing the significant anticipation for its launch. With pre-sale tickets still on the rise,  Harbin is projected to exceed 100,000 pre-sale tickets sold by the week’s end, further increasing buzz about its box office performance.

Thanks to its breathtaking international locations and director Woo Min Ho’s unique narrative style showcasing Korean independence fighters,  Harbin has captivated movie enthusiasts. The film promises a thrilling cinematic journey with its compelling plot and grand scope.
