TVING’s upcoming drama “Study Group” has released more sneak peeks of Hwang Minhyun’s character!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Study Group” is a high school action-comedy about Yoon Ga Min (Hwang Minhyun), a student who dreams of excelling academically but is only gifted in fighting. At a high school notorious for being one of the worst in the world, he forms a study group and dives into the ruthless world of college entrance exams.
Newly released stills of Yoon Ga Min have raised curiosity by showing his contrasting sides. Yoon Ga Min enters the tough and chaotic environment of Yuseong Vocational High School, where academics take a backseat to the fight for dominance. His clean school uniform and gentle expression stand out in the rough surroundings, making his ability to survive even more intriguing.
One photo shows Yoon Ga Min working on his fitness. A dedicated student, he works out every morning in hopes of improving his academics. But his true talent seems to lie in fighting, not studying.
In another shot, he casts aside his thick glasses and faces his opponent with sharp focus, hinting at a hidden side to his character. Caught in an unexpected battle for power, it remains to be seen if Yoon Ga Min can protect his study group and finish his studies unharmed.
The production team said, “Hwang Minhyun’s thrilling action scenes and acting transformation will be the show’s highlight,” adding, “Look forward to Yoon Ga Min’s exciting and intense efforts to protect the study group and his friends.”
