With Blackpink’s Rosé scoring big with her new single APT., a remixed version of the song featuring iconic lines from actor Hwang Jung Min has taken the internet by storm.

On October 26th, remix YouTuber JFF posted the Hwang Jung Min version of “APT.” video, cleverly syncing lines from Hwang Jung Min’s film roles to fit Rosé’s track. The video has gained massive traction, crossing 2.4 million views as of the 30th and sparking a wave of enthusiastic responses from fans online.

Fans are rallying behind the remix with comments like, “Cheering for Hwang Jung Min’s Hollywood debut” and “Rosé’s voice is fading from my memory.” One fan mentioned actor Jung Hae In’s shoutout to the remix at a recent fan event, saying, “I ran here because Jung Hae In mentioned this at the ‘Veteran 2’ stage greeting yesterday.” Others joked, “It kinda slaps harder than the original, not gonna lie” and “Only that homemade DIY vibe could pull this off.”

JFF is also known for “Hwang Jung Min’s Bam Yang Gang,” a previous viral remix that led Hwang Jung Min to joke, “Kids think I’m a singer these days!”

Meanwhile, “APT.” serves as a pre-release track from Rosé’s upcoming first full-length solo album, Rosie, and draws inspiration from the popular “APT Game” in Korea. According to Billboard’s latest chart update on October 29th, “APT.” debuted at No. 8 on the Hot 100, marking the highest rank achieved by a female K-pop artist. Rosé expressed her joy, saying, “What on earth is happening? My dream has come true.”
