The upcoming sequel to “Veteran” has revealed a new poster and its premiere date!
Directed by Ryoo Seung Wan, known for “The Battleship Island” and “Escape from Mogadishu,” “Veteran” is a crime action film following a veteran investigation team pursuing an arrogant third-generation chaebol.
On June 20, the distributor confirmed, “‘Veteran 2’ will debut nationwide in theaters this September. Following its global premiere in May, the film will be released after four month.”
“Veteran 2” continues the story of detective Seo Do Chul (Hwang Jung Min) and his crime investigation team, now joined by detective Park Sun Woo (Jung Hae In).
The movie premiered globally in May at the 77th Cannes International Film Festival’s ‘Midnight Screening,’ receiving applause from local audiences as well as foreign media.
“Veteran 2” reunites the original cast and crew, highlighting their strong chemistry. Jung Hae In’s role as the youngest detective adds to the film’s overall quality.
The production team remarked, “Detective Seo Do Chul returns to audiences after nine years. With new characters joining, we expect to deliver even more thrilling action.”
