The upcoming sequel to “Veteran” has revealed dynamic new posters!
Directed by Ryoo Seung Wan, known for “The Battleship Island” and “Escape from Mogadishu,” “Veteran” is a crime action film following a veteran investigation team pursuing an arrogant third-generation chaebol. The sequel “I, the Executioner” (formerly known as “Veteran 2”) continues the story of detective Seo Do Chul (Hwang Jung Min) and his crime investigation team, now joined by detective Park Sun Woo (Jung Hae In).
The newly released posters feature action scenes in which Seo Do Chul and Park Sun Woo confront someone in pouring rain. In “I, the Executioner,” Hwang Jung Min and Jung Hae In will respectively appear as a veteran detective and a new detective, showcasing their chemistry.
“I, the Executioner” premiered globally in May at the 77th Cannes International Film Festival’s Midnight Screening, receiving applause from local audiences as well as foreign media. The film is slated to hit theaters on September 13.
