High School Return of a Gangster has shared pictures from its script reading.
High School Return of a Gangster is an upcoming drama about a tough gangster who accidentally ends up in the body of a bullied 18-year-old who took his own life. Now, back in high school, the gangster uses his street smarts to get revenge on the bullies.

Writer Jung Da Hee and director Lee Sung Taek have assembled an all-star cast, including rising stars Yoon Chan Young, Bong Jae Hyun, Won Tae Min, Go Dong Ok, and Joo Yoon Chan, alongside seasoned veteran actors Hwang Bo Ra and Seo Tae Hwa.
All eyes were on Yoon Chan Young, known for his roles in All of Us Are Dead and Hope or Dope. This time, he tackles a double role of a shy and bullied high school student named Song Yi Heon and the rogue, 47-year-old gangster Kim Deuk Pal.
Bong Jae Hyun plays Choi Se Kyung, the seemingly perfect student with hidden pain, who befriends the bullied boy. Their contrasting characters promise an interesting dynamic.
Veteran actors Hwang Bo Ra and Seo Tae Hwa impressed with their performances, adding depth to the characters. Young stars Won Tae Min, Go Dong Ok, and Joo Yoon Chan brought vibrant energy that promises a well-balanced and engaging drama.
High School Return of a Gangster will hit streaming platforms Wavve and Watcha first on May 29th and will premiere later on Lifetime, exclusively on June 12th.
