Han Ye Ri has shared her thoughts on her upcoming drama “Doubt”!

“Doubt” is a psychological thriller about the dilemma faced by Korea’s top criminal profiler Jang Tae Soo (Han Suk Kyu), who unexpectedly discovers his daughter’s secret related to a murder case that he is investigating.

Han Ye Ri stars as Lee Eo Jin, a police officer on the Criminal Behavioral Analysis Team led by Jang Tae Soo. Lee Eo Jin values facts over emotions and cases over people. Though she is known for her lack of social skills, she is deeply passionate about her work. She admires Tae Soo as a role model and closely observes him during their investigations.

Newly released stills from the upcoming drama highlight the character’s cold, sharp-eyed demeanor, capturing her intense focus as she analyzes Jang Tae Soo, who is investigating a murder case involving his daughter.

Han Ye Ri commented, “I felt I might never get another chance to work with Han Suk Kyu if not for this project, so I knew I had to take it. I was thrilled at the prospect of getting to see [Han Suk Kyu], whom I’ve always admired, acting on set.”

Han Ye Ri also remarked, “Eo Jin is a character who grows with the help of many people. I wanted to explore why she admires Tae Soo but suspects him at the same time.”

The actress also shared a key point to watch for in the upcoming drama. “I think it’d be good to suspect all the characters [while watching],” she said. “Even the actors were so focused on finding the culprit on set that it felt like a game of Mafia, with everyone suspecting each other.”

Han Ye Ri added, “I encourage viewers to also look for a close betrayer nearby. Of course, please look for one in the drama as well.”

“Doubt” is slated to premiere on October 11 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
