Han Suk Kyu is about to make a final stand to protect Chae Won Bin in MBC’s “Doubt”!

“Doubt” is a psychological thriller starring Han Suk Kyu as Korea’s top criminal profiler Jang Tae Soo, who unexpectedly discovers that his daughter Ha Bin (Chae Won Bin) is hiding a secret related to a murder case that he is investigating.

Spoilers

Previously, Jang Tae Soo deduced that Kim Sung Hee (Choi Yu Hwa), the landlord of the runaway family’s lodging, was the real culprit behind a series of murders. But with no hard evidence, tensions grew as his own daughter, Jang Ha Bin, became a prime suspect in the murder of Lee Soo Hyun (Song Ji Hyun)—the crime that set the entire investigation in motion. When Ha Bin’s plans to commit murder, anticipating a police investigation, were revealed, police grew certain she was the killer. As suspicions mounted, the preview for the final episode fueled anticipation by showing Tae Soo standing by Ha Bin.

In the newly released stills from the finale, Tae Soo and Ha Bin sit across from each other in the interrogation room, capturing viewers’ attention. Facing his daughter as a murder suspect, Tae Soo appears heartbroken yet looks at her with unwavering trust. Whether his faith will impact Ha Bin’s plan remains to be seen.

At the start of the series, the father and daughter shared a tense, almost interrogative atmosphere—even at the kitchen table. Their conversations were sharp, filled with suspicion and hurt. But in these latest stills, a shift is evident. Now, as they face each other in a real interrogation room, a tender closeness between them tugs at viewers’ hearts, raising hopes and questions about whether they can ever return to their normal lives.

The production team remarked, “Tae Soo challenges those who are convinced Ha Bin is the culprit, urging them to question that certainty. Please look forward to his final struggle to protect his daughter.” They added, “Actors Han Suk Kyu and Chae Won Bin bring warmth to the cold interrogation room with their deeply emotional performances. Throughout the finale, their powerful portrayals will bring the father-daughter story to a dramatic climax, so please show lots of interest and anticipation.”

The final episode of “Doubt” will air on November 15 at 9:40 p.m. KST with an extended runtime.
