Production company Climax Studio announced today that Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo have been cast in the lead roles for upcoming drama series Project Y (working title).
Han So Hee is known for her roles in the Netflix series Gyeongsung Creature and My Name, while Jeon Jong Seo has gained recognition for her powerful performances in Burning, Call and Bargain.
Set in Seoul’s opulent Gangnam district, Project Y follows the story of two childhood friends who plan on a daring heist to steal 80 billion won worth of gold bullion. The series promises to be a thrilling and suspenseful ride filled with twists and turns.
Lee Hwan, known for his work on the films Park Hwa Young and Young Adult Matters, will helm the series.
Project Y is a co-production between Climax Studio, the company behind Netflix series Hellbound, D.P., and Parasyte: The Grey, and WOW POINT, the producer of Netflix series The Bequeathed and Parasyte: The Grey

Filming for Project Y is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2024, and the series will be released as a full season.
