The weekend drama ratings battle remains as fierce as ever!
On August 31, SBS’s “Good Partner” once again took first place in its time slot across all channels. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the hit drama scored an average nationwide rating of 15.4 percent. “Good Partner” was also the most-watched show in its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 4.7 percent.
MBC’s “Black Out,” which airs in the same time slot as “Good Partner,” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent—marking its highest ratings to date for a Saturday. (The drama’s viewership ratings have generally been lower on Saturdays compared to Fridays.)
tvN’s ”Love Next Door” remained first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent for its fifth episode.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Romance in the House” kicked off the second half of its run on an average nationwide rating of 3.3 percent.
TV Chosun’s “DNA Lover” scored an average nationwide rating of 0.6 percent for its fifth episode, while MBN’s “Bad Memory Eraser” maintained its nationwide average of 0.3 percent from the night prior.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” was the most-watched show of the entire week with an average nationwide rating of 18.3 percent.
