Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin shared their experiences filming the intimate scenes for their upcoming Netflix series,The Trunk, during its promotional press conference. While many might assume the bed scenes were the most challenging, Gong Yoo surprised everyone by confessing that the shower scenes were actually tougher.

During the event, Seo Hyun Jin opened up about filming the bed scenes with Gong Yoo, saying, “I didn’t mind the bed scene as I thought it was necessary to explain the characters. I also had great trust in the director, so it wasn’t a big issue for me.”

Gong Yoo agreed but surprised everyone by admitting, “Actually, the shower scenes were more difficult. I wasn’t in the best shape at the time, but there were a lot of shower scenes,” he explained, sparking laughter from the audience. Seo Hyun Jin playfully added, “He even said he wanted to film the shower scenes again.”

Despite the challenges, Gong Yoo said he went into emergency management mode ate nothing but greens for two weeks to pull off the scenes. He teased that the shower scene angles are “unlike anything you’ve seen before.”

The Trunk is a mysterious melodrama that delves into a secretive marriage service and the strange relationship between No In Ji (Seo Hyun-jin) and Han Jeong Won (Gong Yoo). The series will premiere exclusively on Netflix on November 29th.
