tvN’s upcoming drama “When the Stars Gossip” has unveiled intriguing new posters!
“When the Stars Gossip” will tell the unlikely love story of Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a tourist at the space station who has arrived with a secret mission.
The newly released posters depict the characters’ daily commute to their workplace—a massive space station orbiting Earth—reimagined in the style of office workers commuting by subway. The tagline, “A daily commute of 200,000 km—every day, we commute to the space station,” evokes both awe and curiosity about the daily lives of these spacefarers.
The first two posters showcase the huge space station, packed with intricate machinery, floating against the vast backdrop of outer space. The tiny figures of astronauts emphasize the overwhelming scale of their cosmic surroundings.
Among the characters introduced are the commander of the station Eve Kim, a tourist on a secret mission Gong Ryong, fruit fly researcher Kang Kang Soo (Oh Jung Se), astronaut Park Dong Ah (Kim Joo Hun), the station’s chief officer Chief Kang (Lee El), space scientist Mina Lee (Lee Cho Hee), Lee Seung Joon (Heo Nam Jun), flight director Han Si Won (Lee Hyun Kyun), and research partner Ma Eun Soo (Park Ye Young).
In the final poster, Gong Ryong, Eve Kim, Kang Kang Soo, Mina Lee, and Lee Seung Joon are getting ready to disembark at their destination station, while Chief Kang, Park Dong Ah, Han Si Won, and Ma Eun Soo gaze calmly into the vastness of space through the window. The characters’ casual yet contemplative expressions hint at the unique challenges and stories that unfold in their extraordinary workplace.
“When the Stars Gossip” will premiere on January 4 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
