Go Soo, Yuri, and Baek Ji Won will begin their unconventional collaboration in the upcoming episode of tvN’s “Parole Examiner Lee”!
“Parole Examiner Lee” is a new drama about lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri stars as Ahn Seo Yun, an ace detective who teams up with Lee Han Shin to catch bad guys.

In the previous episode, Lee Han Shin teamed up with detective Ahn Seo Yun to prevent the parole of Ji Dong Man (Song Young Chang). Impressed by her dedication, Lee Han Shin sought her help again to stop fraudulent investment company executives from JB Holdings from securing parole. Joining their efforts is Choi Hwa Ran (Baek Ji Won), a legendary loan shark with a personal vendetta—she’s owed money by JB Holdings. When Lee Han Shin promised to recover her money, this unusual partnership of a lawyer, a detective, and a loan shark was born.
In the newly released stills, the trio first meets at a restaurant rumored to hold clues about JB Holdings’ hidden 40 billion won (approximately $28.6 million) in criminal funds. However, tensions arise early on: Seo Yun refuses to work with loan shark Hwa Ran, while Hwa Ran insists she won’t work with police officer Seo Yun. Han Shin, however, shifts the atmosphere with a single, enticing reminder: 40 billion won.
In another scene, Han Shin is seen sharing his confident idea while Seo Yun and Hwa Ran appear skeptical, reflecting their struggles to locate the elusive funds. Despite the obstacles, Han Shin devises yet another ingenious and unexpected solution.
The production team teased, “Starting with today’s episode, the dynamic partnership of Han Shin, Seo Yun, and Hwa Ran will truly begin. The trio, coming from vastly different walks of life, will showcase unique strengths that create an incredible synergy.”
