tvN’s upcoming drama “Parole Examiner Lee” has released new stills featuring Girls’ Generation’s Yuri and Go Soo!
“Parole Examiner Lee” follows lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining paroles through money, connections, or deceitful tactics.
Girls’ Generation’s Yuri plays Detective Ahn Seo Yun, the ace of the Violent Crimes Unit. Ahn Seo Yun is a top investigator with a keen eye for detail, an unyielding determination to catch criminals, and a relentless drive to see her cases through. True to her profession, she upholds justice within the bounds of the law, working strictly by the book.
The released stills depict Lee Han Shin and Ahn Seo Yun’s first encounter. In the photos, Lee Han Shin is captured visiting a police station to meet Ahn Seo Yun in person. To achieve his ultimate goal of stopping criminals, he needs a skilled detective, and he specifically chooses Ahn Seo Yun, sparking curiosity about why he selected her as his partner.
While Han Shin confidently approaches her and hands over his business card, Seo Yun looks at him warily, studying both the card and his face with suspicion. Her wary expression contrasts sharply with Han Shin’s calm demeanor.
The atmosphere between them is noticeably tense, making it hard to picture them working together. How will Han Shin persuade the cautious Seo Yun to join him? And will Seo Yun be able to trust him enough to cooperate?
“Parole Examiner Lee” is set to premiere on November 18 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
