Will Go Hyun Jung be able to convince her family to help her make Ryeoun a star on “Namib”?
ENA’s “Namib” is a new drama starring Go Hyun Jung as Kang Soo Hyun, a former entertainment agency CEO who winds up working together with Yoo Jin Woo (Ryeoun), a longtime trainee who gets kicked out of his company.
Spoilers
On the first two episodes of “Namib,” Kang Soo Hyun was wrongfully kicked out of the company that she had founded and built up from the ground. Desperately looking for a new way to afford the sock factory she was buying for her son Shim Jin Woo (Lee Jin Woo), Kang Soo Hyun found a new opportunity in Yoo Jin Woo, a former Pandora Entertainment trainee who was also kicked out of the agency after spending many years there.
In the upcoming third and fourth episodes of the drama, Kang Soo Hyun will get Yoo Jin Woo ready for his audition program after signing him to her newly established one-man agency. As Yoo Jin Woo will have to go up against trainees from major agencies like Pandora Entertainment, which have far more resources at their disposal, the road ahead won’t be an easy one.
To make things worse, Yoo Jin Woo doesn’t have much time left to practice new songs or choreography—and Jang Hyun Chul (Lee Seung Joon)’s right-hand man Chris (Lee Ki Taek) will do his best to interfere by trying to damage Kang Soo Hyun’s relationship with Yoo Jin Woo.
Additionally, Kang Soo Hyun faces another obstacle in the form of her family, whom she will have to get on board with her audition show project. Although her husband Shim Joon Seok (Yoon Sang Hyun) and son aren’t exactly supportive of her new plan, Kang Soo Hyun needs them to cooperate: in order to solve the issue of Yoo Jin Woo’s lodging, she winds up bringing him home to live with them at her house.
To find out if Kang Soo Hyun will be able to secure her family’s assistance and help Yoo Jin Woo succeed on his audition show, catch the next episode of “Namib” on December 30 at 10 p.m. KST!
