ENA’s upcoming drama “Namib” has released a new poster featuring Go Hyun Jung and Ryeoun!
“Namib” depicts the meeting of former entertainment agency CEO Kang Soo Hyun (Go Hyun Jung) and longtime trainee Yoo Jin Woo (Ryeoun), who gets kicked out of his agency, as they each head toward their own goals.
The newly released poster hints at the healing chemistry between Kang Soo Hyun and Yoo Jin Woo, who each harbor a desert and an ocean in their hearts. The contrasting colors of the poster symbolize their moods—Kang Soo Hyun, emotionally drained from harsh realities, is bathed in deep brown, while Yoo Jin Woo, lost and adrift, is represented in cold blue.
Despite their vastly different lives, when the two come together, a unique harmony emerges. Like the Namib Desert meeting the ocean in a stunning landscape, the mentor’s lonely, emotionless existence and the mentee’s uncertain journey create a captivating new dynamic.
The text that reads, “You’ll definitely become a star, with me,” emphasizes Kang Soo Hyun’s sharp eye for talent, as she has specially chosen longtime trainee Yoo Jin Woo. Viewers are curious to find out whether Yoo Jin Woo will overcome adversity and become a star in the end.
The production team shared, “Both Kang Soo Hyun and Yoo Jin Woo have dreams they must achieve. Through their journey of facing challenges, overcoming them, and becoming a team, we hope this drama provides warm comfort to exhausted adults and disheartened youth who have faced failure.”
“Namib” will premiere on December 23 at 10 p.m. KST.
