tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Parole Examiner Lee” has offered the first glimpse of Girls’ Generation’s Yuri’s character!
“Parole Examiner Lee” follows lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining paroles through money, connections, or deceitful tactics.
The newly released stills reveal Yuri’s transformation into Detective Ahn Seo Yun, the ace of the Violent Crimes Unit. Ahn Seo Yun is a top investigator with a keen eye for detail, an unyielding determination to catch criminals, and a relentless drive to see her cases through. True to her profession, she upholds justice within the bounds of the law, working strictly by the book.
Her casual, functional attire—paired with a simple ponytail and minimal makeup—emphasizes her readiness to leap into action at a moment’s notice.
In another still, Ahn Seo Yun appears in uniform, exuding charisma with her piercing gaze and polished professionalism, embodying the precision and confidence of a seasoned detective.
The production team of “Parole Examiner Lee” shared, “In this drama, Yuri breaks away from her previous image to take on the resolute and principled Detective Ahn Seo Yun. Beyond her outward transformation, Yuri brings the character to life with dynamic action scenes and complete immersion into her role. We hope viewers look forward to seeing her journey as Ahn Seo Yun—a by-the-book detective who meets Lee Han Shin, a parole examiner who goes beyond the boundaries of the law to punish evil.”
“Parole Examiner Lee” is set to premiere on November 18 at 8:50 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
