(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon has officially become a fixed member of the upcoming variety show “City Z Goes to the Countryside” (literal translation)!
“City Z Goes to the Countryside” is a new variety show that follows Gen Z celebrities as they dive into the charms and challenges of rural life.
Initially announced as a guest for the show’s first episode alongside aespa’s Winter, Miyeon eagerly declared during filming, “Please make me a regular!” Her enthusiasm paid off, as she was quickly added as a permanent MC, joining Yang Se Chan, Lee Eun Ji, Lee Yi Kyung, Song Geon Hee, and Jeong Dong Won.
The production team expressed their excitement, stating, “With Miyeon joining the already stellar lineup, we’ve created the perfect MC team. Please look forward to the show and support us as the six members reveal new charms while interacting with local residents in rural villages.”
“City Z Goes to the Countryside” will premiere on September 8 at 8:30 p.m. KST.
