Netflix has unveiled a striking new poster for the second season of its original series,  Gyeongseong Creature, featuring Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee.

The special poster showcases an emotional moment between Ho Jae (played by Park Seo Joon) and Chae Ok (Han So Hee), embracing troubled expressions in 2024. Their encounter—Ho Jae, who looks like the Tae Sang of Gyeongseong’s leading pawnshop, Geumokdang, and Chae Ok, who has endured a challenging past—raises intriguing questions about their intertwined fates and the heartfelt story ahead.

Park Seo Joon, portraying Ho Jae, shared, “Playing such a transformative character brought many challenges, but I enjoyed exploring different ways to express myself.” His insights increase anticipation for Ho Jae, who brings a unique charm compared to the 1945 version of Tae Sang. Han So Hee added, “When I’m with Ho Jae, I feel a joy that brings me back to a time when Chae Ok found meaning in life.” This connection enhances curiosity about Chae Ok’s journey, shaped by years of longing.

The evolving narrative between Ho Jae and Chae Ok, as suggested by Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, adds to the show’s intrigue. Park Seo Joon mentioned, “We’ve built a strong partnership since Season 1,” while Han So Hee remarked, “Our long hours of filming have forged a special connection that energizes our collaboration.” Their mutual trust heightens expectations for captivating chemistry in the new season.

Set against the backdrop of Gyeongseong in 1945 and Seoul in 2024, Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 promises a deeper exploration of its characters along with a series of mysterious events that heighten suspense. Anticipation is building as the series is poised to captivate audiences worldwide. The new season is set to premiere on Netflix on September 27th.
