BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is set to star in an exciting new variety show!

On December 11, OSEN reported that G-Dragon will star in a new show helmed by “Infinite Challenge” PD Kim Tae Ho, tentatively titled “GD and Friends.” Filming for the first episode has reportedly already wrapped, with comedian Jung Hyung Don also making an appearance.

While it is not clear whether Jung Hyung Don is part of the main cast or appearing as a guest, TEO, the content production company founded by PD Kim Tae Ho, shared, “PD Kim Tae Ho is preparing a new show featuring G-Dragon and Jung Hyung Don with plans for it to air next year.” Though the official title of the show has not been confirmed, it is currently being referred to as “GD and Friends” or “good day.”

PD Kim Tae Ho personally shared, “There has been a lot of anticipation for their reunion, so we decided to bring G-Dragon and Jung Hyung Don together.” He added, “As the filming is still in its early stages, the specific details will be shared later through an official announcement.”

“GD and Friends” will reportedly air through MBC in 2025 with filming expected to continue through January 2025. An MBC representative revealed, “We are positively discussing the airing of PD Kim Tae Ho and G-Dragon’s new variety show ‘GD and Friends.’”

“GD and Friends” marks a long-awaited reunion between G-Dragon and PD Kim Tae Ho, who last worked together during the peak years of “Infinite Challenge.” In the 2013 Infinite Challenge Freeway Song Festival, G-Dragon and Jung Hyung Don formed an iconic pairing, captivating audiences with their playful banter and hilarious chemistry, which earned them the Best Couple Award at the 2013 MBC Entertainment Awards.
