BIGBANG’s fans got a dose of nostalgia when three members reunited at Taeyang’s solo concert.
On September 1st, Taeyang held his “Taeyang 2024 Tour THE LIGHT YEAR in Seoul” at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. The concert marked a special moment as three members of the iconic K-pop group BIGBANG reunited on stage.
Daesung had already been a guest at the concert the previous day, but this time, G-Dragon also joined the performance. Together with Taeyang, they performed BIGBANG’s hit song “we like 2 party,” which was originally released in 2015 when the group was still a five-member ensemble. The trio’s performance was seamless, showing that their chemistry is still very much alive. G-Dragon also performed “Good Boy,” a track from his unit with Taeyang, G-Dragon & Taeyang, adding to the excitement of the evening.
G-Dragon’s appearance was a delightful surprise for VIPs, BIGBANG’s dedicated fanbase, especially since it wasn’t announced beforehand. Known for his low-key presence in public and the media, G-Dragon’s participation underscored his loyalty to both Taeyang and BIGBANG.
With both Daesung and G-Dragon joining Taeyang for this special concert, fans are now buzzing with speculation about a potential BIGBANG comeback. For now, fans can look forward to G-Dragon’s upcoming solo album slated for release later this year.
Adding to the anticipation, some of G-Dragon’s personal collection will be showcased at the Paradise Art Night event held by Jupiter, a digital auction platform founded by American producer and fashion designer Pharrell Williams, on September 2nd at Paradise City.
