Spoilers
Previously on “Missing Crown Prince,” Crown Prince Lee Geon (EXO’s Suho) was dethroned after being falsely accused of attempting to assassinate King Hae Jong (Jeon Jin Oh). While he was on the run, Gap Seok (Kim Seol Jin) tried to kidnap Oh Wol (Kim Noh Jin), who was impersonating her mistress, as he mistook her for Choi Myung Yoon (Hong Ye Ji). Myung Yoon eventually returned to rescue Oh Wol, which led her to reunite with Lee Geon.
In the newly released stills, Lee Geon and Choi Myung Yoon are seen spending a night together as they stay in a barn during their escape. When Choi Myung Yoon starts to fall ill, Lee Geon becomes worried and covers her with his coat as she shivers from the cold. Lee Geon holds her in his arms to share warmth, and she nestles into his embrace.
However, when they wake up the next morning, they are startled to find themselves embracing one another and exchange awkward glances amidst the romantic tension between them.
Suho and Hong Ye Ji are said to have put in great effort to capture the nervousness and heart-fluttering excitement of Lee Geon and Choi Myung Yoon’s first night together, rehearsing thoroughly to portray the subtle emotional changes in the scene.
The production team shared, “Suho and Hong Ye Ji’s escape will make viewers’ hearts flutter while also keeping them in suspense at the same time.” They added, “Please tune in to the upcoming episode to see how their relationship and romance will unfold.”
The next episode of “Missing Crown Prince” will air on May 4 at 10 p.m. KST.
