Exciting news is swirling around the lineup for the upcoming season of “Road to Kingdom”!
On May 1, it was reported that CRAVITY has been confirmed to join Mnet’s boy group competition show “Road to Kingdom” Season 2.
In response to the report, CRAVITY’s agency Starship Entertainment clarified, “Nothing has been finalized regarding [CRAVITY’s] appearance on ‘Road to Kingdom 2,’ but discussions are [indeed] underway with the production team.”
In addition to CRAVITY, boy groups xikers, THE NEW SIX, 8TURN, YOUNITE, ATBO, and TEMPEST have been reported to join the lineup. However, neither their respective companies nor Mnet have officially confirmed these reports.
Previously, Mnet had announced plans for a new season of “Road to Kingdom,” set to air in the latter half of the year. Details such as the program title and broadcast date will be revealed later.
First premiered in 2020, “Road to Kingdom” followed seven boy groups—PENTAGON, ONF, Golden Child, THE BOYZ, VERIVERY, ONEUS, and TO1—as they competed against each other in missions every week. The winning team from the show automatically earned the chance to compete on the subsequent show “Kingdom.”
