SBS’s “Connection” and JTBC’s “Miss Night and Day” swept the top spots on this week’s rankings of the most buzzed-about dramas and actors!
For the third consecutive week, “Connection” remained No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “Connection” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its cast also claimed two spots in this week’s top 10 most buzzworthy drama cast members: Ji Sung stayed strong at No. 7, while Park Keun Rok climbed to No. 10.
JTBC’s “Miss Night and Day” rose to No. 2 on this week’s drama list, and its leading ladies also swept the top spots on this week’s actor list, where Apink’s Jeong Eun Ji and Lee Jung Eun jumped to No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
In its final week on air, tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” took No. 3 on the drama list, with leads Jung Ryeo Won and Wi Ha Joon ranking No. 4 and No. 6 respectively on the actor list.
JTBC’s “My Sweet Mobster” held onto its spot at No. 4 on the drama list, while stars Um Tae Goo and Han Sun Hwa rose to No. 3 and No. 5 on the actor list respectively.
MBC’s “Bitter Sweet Hell” climbed to No. 5 on the drama list in its final week, followed by tvN’s “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” at No. 6.

While the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list also includes cast members from OTT shows—and “The Whirlwind” stars Sol Kyung Gu and Kim Hee Ae made this week’s list at No. 8 and No. 9 respectively.
