Following the much-awaited comeback of the famous K-pop girl group Red Velvet, lead rapper of the group Joy is confirmed to be dating South Korean singer Crush!
SM Entertainment and P-NATION Confirm Joy and Crush’s Relationship
On August 23, various K-media outlets released reports confirming Crush and Red Velvet’s Joy are currently in a relationship. The two celebrities are said to begin dating in May of 2021.
The news sets the internet on fire and fans are looking forward to seeing more details regarding Joy and Crush.
Meanwhile, an hour after the news broke out, Crush’s agency P-NATION released a statement saying , “We are currently verifying whether the dating rumor is true.”
Red Velvet Joy and Crush are in a relationship
Following their first statement, P-NATION finally announced that their artist Crush is in a relationship with Red Velvet member Joy.
On the other hand, Joy’s home agency SM Entertainment released a short statement confirming the dating news. According to them, “After working together before, Red Velvet Joy and singer Crush have built a good friendship, and recently began dating.”
Joy and Crush have worked together for the song “MayDay” in May 2020.
Red Velvet Joy to Star in a New Drama Only One Person
2021 is indeed a year for idol-actress Joy. Before their group comeback, Joy was already confirmed to make her small screen return with JTBC’s “Only One Person.” This will be her first drama project for this year.
Her last tv series was MBC’s “Tempted” in 2018 where Joy had portrayed a challenging role. She also worked with actors Woo Do Hwan, Moon Ga Young, and Kim Min Jae.
Now that she will be having back to back projects, from music to dramas, her fans and viewers who are waiting for her return are already looking forward to seeing her again in the spotlight.
