Shin Hyun Bin is confirmed to star in the upcoming K-drama “The Youngest Son of Chaebol Family” alongside Song Joong Ki.
The actress gained the public’s attention through the medical drama “Hospital Playlist.”

Now, the 35-year-old actress is the latest cast to confirm her presence in the forthcoming K-drama.
To recall, the “Vicenzo” star and Lee Sung Min previously accepted the offer and are set to appear in the JTBC’s new romance series.
According to reports, she will take the role of the heroine Seo Min Young.
In the drama, Min Young is a prosecutor that focuses on anti-corruption and displays a love-hate relationship with Song Joong Ki’s character, Jin Do Joon, in the process of tracking the illegal inheritance.
She is also dubbed by her colleagues as the “grim reaper of the chaebol family” due to her determined attitude to fend off corrupt individuals.

What to Expect from Song Joong Ki’s New Drama
The much anticipated JTBC series is based on the popular web novel of the same name.
It depicts the story of the former secretary of a chaebol family but was reincarnated to be the family’s youngest son. His grievances were rooted after the wealthy family framed him for embezzlement and murdering him despite his loyalty and service to the clan.
As mentioned above, Song Joong Ki will portray the youngest son, Jin Do Joon, who is set to take over the conglomerate as his form of revenge.
There, he will meet the brutally competitive Jin Yang Chul, played by Lee Sung Min.
In the drama, he will take on the role of the head of Sunyang Group who harbors endless greed for money.
In addition, joining “The Youngest Son of Chaebol Family” cast is Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany, who is still in talks to take on the role of the family’s Korean-American daughter.
If the K-pop superstar agrees to appear in the much-awaited drama, this will be her first major acting career.
Apart from the star-studded cast, the upcoming drama will be helmed by “She Was Pretty” and “I am Not a Robot” director Jeong Dae Yun.
He will be working alongside the veteran writer, Kim Tae Hee, whose famous works include “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” “Monstar” and “A Beautiful Mind.”
As for “The Youngest Son of Chaebol Family” release, it is slated to premiere in 2022 via JTBC.

“The Youngest Son of Chaebol Family” is Shin Hyun Bin’s second upcoming drama following her current series “Hospital Playlist 2,” where she plays surgery fellow Jang Gyeo Wool.
In the hit medical K-drama, fans lauded her on-screen chemistry with South Korean heartthrob Yoo Yeon Seok.
The duo’s on-screen romance was so hyped that the viewers even named them as the “Winter Garden couple.”
Apart from this, she is also confirmed to lead the drama “Reflection of You” with Go Hyun Jung, Kim Jae Young, and Choi Won Young.
