On December 3rd, C9 Entertainment, the agency behind girl group cignature, announced the group’s unexpected disbandment, ending their activities after four years.

In an official statement, C9 Entertainment shared, “Through mutual discussions between the company and the members, we have concluded that disbanding the group was necessary. As of November 30th, 2024, the contracts of all seven cignature members have been terminated regardless of their remaining durations, and group activities have officially ceased.”
Debuting in 2020 with their single album Nun Nu Nan Na, cignature went on to release a total of five mini albums and two singles, with their last release, Sweety but Salty, now marking their final chapter.

C9 Entertainment expressed gratitude for the members’ dedication, stating, “We extend our heartfelt thanks to the members, who gave their all despite many challenges as part of cignature.” They also addressed fans, adding, “We apologize for delivering this sudden news to those who have cherished cignature.
