Choo Young Woo will come to Lim Ji Yeon’s rescue yet again on the next episode of “The Tale of Lady Ok”!
“The Tale of Lady Ok” is a JTBC drama about the intense survival con game of runaway slave Goo Deok (Lim Ji Yeon), who assumes a false identity, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), who risks everything to protect her.

Previously on “The Tale of Lady Ok,” Cheon Seung Hwi respected Goo Deok’s decision to live her life as the fake Lady Ok Tae Young, and he backed off to give her freedom. However, he was heartbroken when he later saw her marrying his lookalike Sung Yoon Gyeom (also played by Choo Young Woo).
When Sung Yoon Gyeom was accused of treason and stripped of his position, Cheon Seung Hwi helped him and Goo Deok escape danger by pretending to be him in a crucial moment. Then, after wishing them well, he sadly watched Goo Deok and Sung Yoon Gyeom leave together from behind.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Cheon Seung Hwi once again saves Goo Deok’s life. When the fake Lady Ok Tae Young falls into water, Cheon Seung Hwi rescues her and carries the unconscious Goo Deok to safety. Once on land, he hovers over her with a desperate expression, piquing curiosity as to what has happened to Goo Deok—and how their paths wound up crossing yet again.
