Choi Young Joon and Jin Sun Kyu may be joining the upcoming drama “The Price of Confession” (literal title)!
In early June, it was reported that Jin Sun Kyu would be starring in “The Price of Confession.” On June 25, STARNEWS further reported that Choi Young Joon will also be joining the drama.
In response to the report, Choi Young Joon’s agency ACE FACTORY shared, “Choi Young Joon has received an offer to star in the drama and is currently reviewing it.” Jin Sun Kyu’s side has not yet provided any comment.
“The Price of Confession” depicts the bloody chronicle of two women surrounding a murder case. The series will be helmed by director Lee Jung Hyo of “Crash Landing on You” and “Doona!.”
Previously, it was revealed that Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Go Eun, and Park Hae Soo are also in talks for the drama.
Jeon Do Yeon is reportedly considering the role of Ahn Yoon Soo, an art teacher grappling with the loss of her husband, while Kim Go Eun is in talks for the role of Mo Eun, a mysterious psychopath. Park Hae Soo has reportedly been offered the role of Baek Dong Hoon, a top prosecutor determined to uncover Ahn Yoon Soo and Mo Eun’s secrets.
Choi Young Joon is in talks for the role of Jin Young In, a public defender known for his polished appearance. Recognized for his legal prowess, Jin Young In was offered a professorship at a private university law school. During his tenure as a professor, Jin Young In decides to become Mo Eun’s public defender after learning about her through the news.
Jin Sun Kyu is reportedly in talks to portray Jang Jeong Goo, a former boxing athlete who is now the head attorney of a law firm. He is appointed by Ahn Yoon Soo, who is garnering public sympathy, to defend her. Despite his low win rate in the industry, Jang Jeong Goo is known for his unwavering determination and perseverance. He approaches everything with full commitment, maintaining strong principles and steadfast resolve.
