KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Scandal” (literal title) has shared a glimpse of Choi Woong in character!
“Scandal,” which stars Han Chae Young and Han Bo Reum, will tell the story of two very different women: one wants to have the world, while the other is willing to put everything on the line for revenge.
Choi Woong will play the role of Seo Jin Ho, an aspiring actor who is also Baek Seol Ah (Han Bo Reum)’s fiancée. After promising to spend the rest of his life with Baek Seol Ah, Seo Jin Ho suddenly goes missing on the day of their wedding. He then unexpectedly winds up playing the leading role in Baek Seol Ah’s drama under the stage name Jung Woo Jin.
The newly released stills highlight the contrast between Seo Jin Ho before and after his sudden rise to stardom. In the blink of an eye, Seo Jin Ho goes from a poor aspiring actor to a superstar looking sleek and polished in an elegant suit.
The “Scandal” production team commented, “Choi Woong is an actor with a broad range, a deep and delicate gaze, and solid acting skills. We’re ready to shake up viewers’ hearts with the character of Seo Jin Ho as portrayed by Choi Woong.”
They went on to tease, “Seo Jin Ho’s unpredictable life will be highly entertaining, so please look forward to it.”
“Scandal” will premiere on June 17 at 7:50 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “The Two Sisters.”
