MBC’s “When the Phone Rings” has shared new stills ahead of tomorrow’s episode!
Based on a popular web novel, “When the Phone Rings” tells the story of Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin), a couple that married for convenience—and the romance that blossoms between them after a threatening phone call.

In the previous episode, Baek Sa Eon received a message from Jung Sang Hoon (Kim Joon Bae) who was at the fishing shop, stating, “That guy is alive.” Sa Eon rushed to the fishing shop, only to find it engulfed in flames. While trying to rescue Sang Hoon, an explosion left him unconscious. At the same time, Hee Joo was hit with a revelation from her stepsister Hong In Ah (Han Jae Yi) that Sa Eon is not a biological son of the Baek family.
The newly released stills capture a tense meeting between Hee Joo and her in-laws Baek Eui Yong (Yoo Seong Ju) and Shim Kyu Jin (Chu Sang Mi). Worried sick after losing contact with Sa Eon, Hee Joo visits their home in the dead of night. She demands something from them, leaving Eui Yong and Kyu Jin visibly startled by their daughter-in-law’s unexpected demeanor. Hee Joo’s determined expression hints at a significant decision, heightening curiosity about her actions.
Meanwhile, upon hearing about Sa Eon’s accident, Hee Joo rushes to the hospital. Devastated by Sa Eon’s critical condition, she tearfully clings to his hand, praying desperately for his recovery. Resolving to protect him at all costs, Hee Joo sets off somewhere with determination. What could Hee Joo’s next move be?
