Stray Kids has made history once again with their latest EP, “ATE,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Released on July 19, this achievement marks the fifth consecutive time the K-pop group has topped this prestigious chart, making them the first group ever to have their first five albums debut at No. 1.

The news was announced by Billboard on July 28, further solidifying Stray Kids’ position as a dominant force in the music industry. The album “ATE” sold an impressive 232,000 equivalent album units in its first week, which includes a staggering 218,000 traditional album sales.

This figure is the highest for any K-pop album in 2024 and the second highest across all genres, trailing only Taylor Swift’s latest release. The success of “ATE” has generated a wave of excitement among fans, known as STAY, who have taken to social media to celebrate this milestone.
