MBC’s upcoming drama “Black Out” has unveiled new stills of Byun Yo Han!
Adapted from the best-selling German mystery novel “Snow White Must Die,” “Black Out” is a crime thriller drama that follows the story of a young man accused of murder in a mysterious case where no corpses were found. 11 years later, he embarks on a journey to uncover the truth of that fateful day. The drama stars Byun Yo Han, Go Joon, Go Bo Gyeol, Kim Bo Ra, and more.
Byun Yo Han will take on the role of Go Jung Woo, a model student who excels not only in sports but also academically, earning admission to a prestigious medical school. Despite being loyal, friendly, and innocent, he yearns for adulthood and secretly indulges in alcohol without his parents’ consent after his college entrance exam.
Go Jung Woo’s seemingly perfect life then takes a dramatic turn when he is accused of the murder of two female classmates. Unable to recall the events of that night, he is sentenced to 11 years behind bars. Once released, he is determined to uncover the truth and reclaim his life.
The newly released stills capture how harsh Go Jung Woo’s life has been as an accused murderer. One image depicts his younger self from 11 years ago, standing in the courtroom with a look of despair. Contrasted with his current appearance, where he looks rugged and determined after years of imprisonment, these images offer a glimpse into his tumultuous journey.
In another still, Go Jung Woo is seen unfolding a piece of paper on a table and meticulously examining it, piquing curiosity about what he might be thinking and whether he is indeed the true culprit in the murder case.
“Black Out” is set to premiere on August 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
