MBC’s upcoming drama “Black Out” has released its poster!
Adapted from the best-selling German mystery novel “Snow White Must Die,” “Black Out” is a crime thriller drama that follows the story of a young man accused of murder in a mysterious case where no body was found. 10 years later, he embarks on a journey to uncover the truth of that fateful day. The drama stars Byun Yo Han, Go Joon, Go Bo Gyeol, Kim Bo Ra, and more.
The newly released poster shows Byun Yo Han portraying Go Jung Woo as he examines a damp, circular drain with the dim light of a small flashlight. The mystery of what may lurk at the end of this vast drain casts an eerie atmosphere, amplified by the silence surrounding the poster.
However, the bright beam from Go Jung Woo’s flashlight starts to dispel the darkness in the drain, gradually revealing its hidden contents. The mystery hidden in the deep shadows piques the curiosity of onlookers, triggering their detective instincts.
Additionally, the poster features the phrase, “Perhaps it would have been better not to know the truth of that night,” subtly suggesting a significant secret buried within the fragments of memory lost by the character Go Jung Woo in the drama. This dark chapter from 11 years ago, which has profoundly impacted one person’s life and sparked speculation about what everyone wishes to forget, continues to hold considerable intrigue.
The poster hints at Go Jung Woo’s solitary battle to uncover the truth amid uncertain times ahead. Having transformed into a ruthless killer due to erased memories, he attracts attention to whether he can regain his forgotten past.
“Black Out” is slated to premiere on August 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
