After skyrocketing to superstardom through his hit drama “Lovely Runner,” Byeon Woo Seok may be returning to theaters through one of his past films!
On May 25, film distribution company NEW officially revealed, “We are currently in talks with theaters regarding the re-release of ‘Soulmate.’ A theater representative was the first to contact us with the request [to re-release the film].”
The company added, “We are currently in discussions regarding the concrete schedule, event, and more.”
A remake of the popular Chinese film of the same name, “Soulmate” was originally released in March 2023. Starring Kim Da Mi, Jeon So Nee, and Byeon Woo Seok, the movie follows the joy, sorrow, love, and longing that two best friends go through together after instantly clicking during their teenage years.
Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok is currently enjoying a steep rise in popularity due to his starring turn in the tvN drama “Lovely Runner.”
