BTS member Suga will be summoned for police questioning on August 23rd, 17 days after he was caught driving under the influence on August 6th.

The Seoul Yongsan Police Station has scheduled his questioning for this afternoon, after he finishes his shift as a social service worker. He reported to his assigned post for social service as usual today.

The singer was stopped by police while riding an electric scooter near his residence in the Yongsan District on August 6th, at around 11:15 PM. According to Korean traffic laws, electric scooters are classified as ‘vehicles’. Although Suga initially claimed to have had only “one beer,” his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.227%, well above the 0.08% threshold for license suspension.
