On June 12th, BTS members will take leave from their military duties to come together and celebrate Jin’s discharge from the military. They have reportedly arranged their schedules to be present for their eldest member’s return.
Jin, who enlisted as an active-duty soldier in December 2022, has completed his 18-month mandatory service. There will likely be no official discharge ceremony, similar to his enlistment, which had no special event to prevent safety issues.
Initially, BTS planned to greet Jin at his military base, but due to concerns about potential congestion, they will now celebrate quietly at an undisclosed location in Seoul.
Post-discharge, Jin will embark on individual activities, starting with attending the 2024 FESTA and hosting a hug event with 1,000 fans. He is also planning to release a solo album later this year.
Following Jin’s discharge, J-Hope is the next member scheduled to complete his military service in October. Fans can look forward to seeing the entire BTS group reunited in June of next year.
