BOYNEXTDOOR has set a new personal record with their latest release!
Last week, the rookie boy group returned with their new mini album “19.99” and its flirty title track “Nice Guy” on September 9. By the end of the day, the EP had already sold over 600,000 copies, breaking BOYNEXTDOOR’s previous first-week sales record of 531,911 (set by their last mini album “HOW?”) within just its first day of sales alone.
On September 16, Hanteo Chart reported that “19.99” had gone on to sell an impressive total of 759,156 copies within the first week of its release (September 9 to 15)—marking a substantial 43 percent increase from the record achieved by “HOW?” this past April.
“19.99” has also topped Line Music’s daily albums chart in Japan for the past five days, while “Nice Guy” reached No. 1 on Line Music’s daily songs chart this past week.
Additionally, after achieving BOYNEXTDOOR’s highest ranking yet on Melon’s Top 100 shortly after its release, “Nice Guy” is still holding steady on the chart.
Congratulations to BOYNEXTDOOR!
